We feel this course is important for all of our members, and the Uxbridge Horsemen's Association is pleased to be able to subsidize this training for our 2018 Members at a discounted rate. The normal cost for this clinic would be $75.40 for each participant. The cost to UHA members registered for 2018, will be $50 per participant.

Maora Evans is a Toronto EMS Paramedic, and has her own business, I Heart Emergency Training. Maora has been specially trained to teach and certify individuals in Emergency First Aid + CPR (Adult). This is a full day course which will cover basic Emergency First Aid and CPR for Adults, and since Maora also owns her own horses, some scenarios will apply to horse related injuries. Upon successful completion of the course you will receive a certificate in Emergency first Aid + CPR(Adult) which is valid for 3 years. In addition, all booklets will be supplied and become yours to take home, Maora will also supply everyone with a barrier device, and a pair of sterile gloves to keep with you in case of emergencies.
