Volunteers are vital to our ability to continue to operate the UHA.
Without them there is no club.
We regret to advise you that we didn't receive any nominations for the 2024 Board of Directors or Executive positions. As a result, we have put a Board of Directors in place for 2024 with the sole purpose of trying to find a new Board of Directors for 2025. Should they fail, they will wind down the Association completely at the end of this year.
Unfortunately this means that our May/June/July & August Schooling Shows are cancelled in 2024.
With the limited resources we have, we are attempting to work out the details for the UHA's participation in the Uxbridge Fall Fair. If we are successful, this will be the only event we'll be involved with this vear.
Your support has never been more critical to the Uxbridge Horsemen's Association.
We encourage you to get involved to help keep Uxbridge, and the surrounding areas, a great place for horses and their people! Please consider joining the Board of Directors and/or Executive.
The UHA requires a minimum of 3 Directors of the Board.
Typically Board of Director Members also hold at least one Executive Officer position. The Executive Officer Positions and their descriptions are listed below.

Why Join the UHA?
Since the mid 1980’s the Uxbridge Horsemen’s Association has been the voice for equestrians in Uxbridge, Durham and the surrounding area. Our philanthropic activities focus on causes that are important to horses and their people as well as helping out and supporting the needs of our community. Most importantly we provide a forum for you as a horse owner, perhaps a farm owner, boarding facility or coach, to use as a sounding board should you ever need strength in numbers. We welcome all disciplines and we do hold discipline specific events as well as general equine focused events, but more, we stand united in our passion for horses.
