Main purpose of the Farm is to enjoy, breed, train and  compete at adult and youth levels with Morgans on a Local, Zone and National levels.  We do own multiple breeds.

Disciplines include Hunter Pleasure, Hunter Over Fences, Hack, Pleasure Trail, Western Pleasure, Pleasure and Classic Driving, Halter, Showmanship, Competitive Trail, Endurance and Saddle Seat.

We do re-trains or restarts on all breeds and gently back 2 yr olds.
Lessons for all ages.
We are not a boarding barn, but I do have and will accept a limited amount of boarders.
Indoor coverall arena, Large outdoor sand ring, hunt field with jumps, on/off property trails, Gannaraska Forest Trail rides.

June 2, 2018 Blue Gate will hold their second Horse show with both Morgan and Open Classes suitable for lead-line level and up.

The goal at Blue Gate is to teach smart equitation, which leads to both horse and rider working together as a team and to the best of both their abilities and comfort levels.

Not a big, public, commercial, boarding lesson stable.
Only 11 boarded horses. Very quiet, not busy.
$525 a month everything included. (including HST)
(reduced/D.I.Y. Is also available)
Full facility on 10 acres on sand based footing, small round pen & 10 paddocks.
Outdoor sand riding: 80'x160'-has lights for riding at night,
Indoor arena: 70'x130' Big windows down the long walls & the back short wall is all mirrors.
Heated tackroom: hot/cold water & blanket drying racks for wet blankets.
Stalls: 10'x11' all with 2 water buckets & salt block holder, limestone packed floors & wall to wall rubber mats.
Daily all day turnout in very small groups of 4 maximum.
All the paddocks have water troughs & are heated in the winter.
I DON'T offer outdoor/pasture boarding, sorry.
Your own farrier, vet, & coach are all welcome!
Close to 2 York Regional Forests for hacking & to neighbouring stables for showing.
